"Go and make disciples of all nations . . ." (Matthew 28:19)

These were Jesus' last orders to his disciples. He wasn't joking. In Agapé UK, we don't want to simply talk about his words. We're committed to taking the practical steps required to obey them.

To see a true movement of God, we believe that we need to do what Jesus himself did: boldly win people to Christ, build deeply into their lives, and urgently send them out to make disciples. Agapé UK works with people of influence in most areas of life, and has sent British staff to help build spiritual movements on every continent.

Building Movements in the University

Because we believe that the university has the greatest leverage on society, our work with students is a central focus. Our first passion is that every one of the 2 million students in the UK should have the opportunity, not just to hear the gospel, but to learn to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives. Whether reaching athletes, artists or internationals on campus, our staff are passionate about turning lost students into multiplying disciples of Jesus.

Building Movements in the Community

Ninety percent of those living in the UK have no connection to the church. For this reason, we want to work with the whole church to help believers develop a heart for evangelism, strengthen marriages and families, and give every community easy access to the story of Jesus.

Building Movements in the Workplace We help prepare Christian business men and women to challenge their co-workers and clients with the gospel, while providing opportunities inside the workplace to discuss belief and apply biblical truths to workplace issues.

Building Movements in the Arts

We challenge creatives (be they art students, musicians, actors, painters or poets) to love Jesus and be artists of excellence who will serve their communities and share the love of Christ with others within their own circles of influence.

Building Movements in Schools

Most people make their decision to follow Jesus before they reach twenty. In the UK, believers have an amazing opportunity, unheard of in most of the world: we can have an impact in the very place teenagers spend most of their time - school! Our desire is to help prepare teenagers for a lifetime of steadfast discipleship to Jesus.

Building Movements through Sport

We strive to win athletes for Christ and help them to integrate their faith with their sport. Whether on professional sport teams, on campus, in the community, or on one of our international projects, the challenge is to make Jesus known within every area of influence.

Building Movements Across Cultures

Jesus' last orders were to make disciples of all nations. We are serious about sending our staff to those who need to hear. Many have followed his call overseas. And now God is also bringing the nations to the UK! Our staff work with asylum seekers and immigrants, with international students and within London's diplomatic community. By winning people to Christ within these communities and training them to build multiplying disciples, we can be a part of building spiritual movements all over the world!
