"I Met Jesus!"
Life had seemingly become too much for Martin, a young student. One night on a city street in Gothenburg he was given the booklet "Knowing God Personally" in Swedish and that was his turning point. Shortly after, some Christians prayed for him and at that moment he met Jesus.
"God Makes Me Free!"
At age 47, Kerstin is free by the power of God. Following a Bible study in 1984, Kerstin wanted to know more about Jesus. After contact with Agape Sweden in 1987 and subsequently learning about the Holy Spirit, God has made Kerstin totally free and full of courage.
Agape Sweden Helps The Passion to Hit Number One
At first the film distributers in Sweden were going to show the film The Passion in 6 cities with only 7 copies. After Agape Sweden stepped in to help, 52 copies of The Passion were shown in 44 cities. The Passion quickly became the most viewed film in Sweden. Over 150,000 people have seen the film so far. Over 11% of the members of the Swedish goverment came to see a special preview showing organized by Agape Sweden.

Over 30% Accepting the Jesus Film!
Since last summer, staff member Tord Larsson has been working full time with the Jesus Video Project. The Swedish JVP was launched last summer, and so far, more than 20 churches from various denominations are saying yes to our church based evangelism strategy. So far, about 4.000 homes have been offered of the JESUS film and more then 30% are open to a follow-up appointment.

Something's Going on in Sweden
Never before has a campus ministry in Agape Europe had such a partnership as Sweden has today. Last year, a summer team of 19 people came to Sweden and the same number are coming this summer. They have reached out to more than a thousand students in just two weeks of work! This coming autumn Sweden will have 11 full time STInt (Short Term International) workers in Uppsala and Stockholm. The leaders will be John and Beverly Estorge who are answering a call from God and from Sweden.
