God is At Work
We praise our Lord for the renewed interest in the ministry work in Portugal. The growing number of staff (20 at moment) and volunteers enables us to enlarge our activities and influence in our country. As a result, we have reinforced the JESUS Film Ministry especially through mass distribution of videos and magazines in public schools and using also the EURO 2004 that took place in Portugal as a platform to distribute the video and the 4 Laws to large numbers of people. We also initiated the Aventura ministry among teenagers as well as our worship and music ministry called Mezzo. All these steps enable us to see a promising evangelistic thrust in our country and we wonder what other beautiful things God may have to Portugal.

Ministries in Portugal

Dawn Refuge (O refúgio do Amanhecer) - is a ray of hope for children in need. Our intent is to provide what they lack most: love and a family, adequate nutrition for their growth and an opportunity to meet Jesus in their lives.

Family Life - Improving the quality of family life through Biblical principles. We offer weekend conferences, seminars and study materials for home groups.

JESUS Film Project - Getting the Gospel of Luke into people's homes - Film, Audio & Video cassettes and interactive media.

Campus – our goal is to help the university students to discover and follow Jesus in their lives.

World Missions - Agape Portugal is reaching out to the continent of Africa, especially in Portuguese speaking countries, through correspondence and other Christian materials.

Mezzo – tries to reach the human heart through music and worship thus making men and women feel closer to their Creator.

Aventura – is focused on challenging teenagers in a relevant and creative way to listen and answer the Gospel message.

Prayer – through intercession groups we pray for families, churches and God’s people in general. We search also internal healing and God’s blessing so we can be a blessing to others.

Catholics – We are interested in taking the Gospel message to each home in Portugal, so we challenged a large number of parishes to work with us and distribute the Jesus video to everyone in their areas.
