People make life-altering decisions at a younger age than ever before. Most people make a decision for Jesus in their youth. At Agape, we invest deeply in the younger generation that includes school-aged children, teens and approximately 12 million university students in major cities throughout Western Europe.
We work to identify and train a new generation of young European Movement Leaders to help fulfill the Great Commission by helping create fast and fluid movements that spread through schools, universities, neighbourhoods, sport clubs, and beyond – wherever youth gather. These movements use social media and the internet, as well as personal creativity reflected in art, music and clothing.
Clearly, this is a group effort whose success depends on strong partnerships with local churches and other youth or student organisations with whom we share a common vision and values. We approach this task as members of Christ’s Body, working to reach the goal of giving every student and teen an opportunity to hear a culturally relevant presentation of the gospel and give a personal response. Our joint resources and energies will be employed to make Jesus known to this generation, who are the continent's future leaders.
Student and youth work are possible in a variety of areas of service.
