Leader for a new Generation

Eric B. of Lausanne, Switzerland, sat in his cell, reflecting on what had led him to a two-year prison term. Fixing our Eyes on Jesus

This month I'd like to finish up by reminding you of the need to focus your life on Jesus. And remember, when we look at Jesus, we are seeing God. Pray for Key Cities

Agape leaders in each country of Western Europe have designated one city in their country as a "key city," in which Agape will seek to build multiplying movement teams as models for the rest of the country. Over the coming months, this column will focus on different key cities, giving a bit of the flavour of the city and prayer requests. This month we begin with Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

Pray for Rotterdam

  1. Pray that the spiritual leaders of the city will come together to pray for Rotterdam.
  2. Pray that churches would work together to reach the city.
  3. Praise God for the university ministry! In only two years, God has raised up a flourishing ministry with students coming to Christ and being discipled.
  4. Pray for the follow-up of the "Why Easter?" campaign in Delfshaven. Many people heard the gospel through the JESUS film and other means.
  5. Pray for Pieter as he begins a ministry with leaders in the "where people work" area.
  6. Pray for Athletes in Action outreaches.
  7. Pray for Agape staff members in the city, that they might walk closely with God, live holy lives, and have healthy marriages.
  8. Pray that God would draw people to himself, who can in turn become multiplying disciples.
